Matariki is becoming a more recognised time for celebration in New Zealand and learning about the stars and their role in Māoritanga is a great way to mark the season!
This Matariki block poster features all 9 stars (the oft forgotten Pohutukawa and Hiwaiterangi) and scenes of winter and marking matariki interwoven with the visual storytelling of the legend.
Also features a comprehensive guide about Matariki and the stars making up the Pleiades constellation.
